Jazz, folk and pops wrap up Pawtucket Arts Fest

The last weekend of the Pawtucket Arts Festival includes a lecture on jazz history by saxman Greg Abate, folk music at Stone Soup Coffeehouse's new digs in the Boys & Girls Club, and a pops concert by the Rhode Island Philharmonic at Slater Park.

Blackstone Visitor Center Theater, 175 Main St.:
History of Jazz and Blues, lecture and improvisation by Greg Abate, 3-4:30 pm.
Poetry Reading, by Norah Pollard, author of Leaning In and daughter of Seabiscuit jockey Red Pollard. 5 pm. Free; tickets required.
SATURDAY
Mad Agnes and Eric Hansen, folk music, Stone Soup Coffeehouse, Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket Arts Center, 210 Main St., 8 pm. $10.
SUNDAY
Blackstone Valley Heritage Concert Series: Consuelo Sherba, viola, Virginia Eskin, piano, and Nigel Gore, narrator, Pawtucket Congregational Church, 40 Walcott St., 1 pm.
