Here we go again.
Another area resident is a contestant on the CBS reality show Survivor.
This time the contender is Jeanne Hebert of North Attleboro,
director of marketing for the New England Dairy Promotions Board.
Hebert, 41, is married with three children.
Maria MacDonald, a friend who has known Hebert since fourth grade,
described her as "a ton of fun" but also as very competitive. "She goes
after the stuff she wants, and she usually gets it," MacDonald said.
MacDonald, who said she just found out that Hebert would be on Survivor,
predicted her old friend would do well.
The latest edition of Survivor, which has already been shot, puts the 16
contenders in the Amazon jungle during the start of the rainy season.
Along with the weather, the competitors must deal with piranhas,
jaguars, alligators, anacondas and, of course, each other.
Producer Mark Burnett, always looking to tweak the formula, has
decided the initial two "tribes" will be divided by sex -- Jabaru being
all women, Tambaqui all men.
Survivor: The Amazon begins Feb. 13 at 8 p.m.
