Tracy Breton |

Tracy Breton, a member of The Providence Journal's investigative reporting team, joined the staff of the newspaper in 1973, after graduating magna cum laude from Syracuse University, where she had a dual major in journalism and political science. She was recently assigned to team after more than 20 years of covering courts and legal affairs. She is also one of the reporters who shared the Journal's 1994 Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Reporting and in 1995, won the New England Society of Newspaper Editors' Master Reporting Award, given to one reporter a year to honor a career's worth of work. She teaches journalism at Brown University and has also taught at Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications, Providence College and the University of Rhode Island. |
