Jennifer D. Jordan started working at The Providence Journal in July 2002 in the South County bureau.

      She also covered politics, health and town news for The Eagle Tribune in Lawrence, Mass., for two years. Before that, she was city reporter at The Keene (N.H.) Sentinel.

       She has freelanced for Boston area dailies and weeklies and Life magazine. She graduated from Columbia University School of Journalism in May 1997.
