A new tee higher up on the hill adds 30 yards from when Tiger Woods used 2-iron, 8-iron for his 36th hole birdie that won the 1995 U.S. Amateur. No one is going to get home with 2-iron, 8-iron now, especially with the course softer than when the Amateur was here. The drive becomes much more difficult with the added length. The elevated green is well bunkered and this green gets my vote for the most difficult on the course. It is severely undulated and very difficult to read. Course knowledge is needed on this green more than any other.

Your turn: How should the pros play hole number nine?
