Barry Westall knows Newport Country Club as well as anyone in the world.
Westall began caddying at the club as a teenager, as he was growing up in Jamestown. He played there many times
as a collegian, for the URI golf team, and later as an assistant pro at the course. Now, he is the head pro.
Westall sat down with Journal golf writer Paul Kenyon and detailed how he would recommend playing the course
as it has been set up by the United States Golf Association for the 61st U.S. Women's Open.
