Mr. and Mrs. Slawomir Mitak

Kirsten Thurber and Slawomir Mitak were married May 25 at St. Joseph’s Basilica in Webster, Mass. The Rev. Richard Polek and the Rev. Paul A. Charland officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earle Thurber of North Scituate. The groom is the son of Eleonara Mitak of Jedlnia, Poland, and the late Tadeusz Mitak. Valery Thurber was the maid of honor and Amanda Hopkins, Colleen and Shawn Marie McLoughlin, Hilary Pereira and Skye Scioto were bridesmaids. Seinna McLoughlin was the flower girl. Ethan Thurber was the best man and Lucky Rattan, Justin Sharkey and Slawomir Wasilewski were groomsmen. Jason Athey was the ring bearer.

The bride is a graduate of Rhode Island College and attends Florida State University. The groom is a graduate of VII LO Radom; Radom Politechnic and is employed by Computer Networking.

They honeymooned in Arizona and Colorado and make their home in Tallahassee, Fla.
