Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Brooks
The Lighthouse on Goat Island in Newport was the setting June 27 for the wedding of Sallie Rodrigues of Warwick and Kyle Brooks of Warwick. A reception followed at the Hyatt Regency on Goat Island. The Rev. James C. Gibney performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Steven and Suzanne Rodrigues of Warwick. The groom is the son of Donna Brooks and Thomas Brooks of Warwick.
The maid of honor was Kristen Giza. Brooke Spencer-Brooks, Lindsey Savage, Jessica Quaranto, Meagan Sage and Suzanne Lowney were bridesmaids. Lindsey Bennett was junior bridesmaid. The best man was Stephen Matthews. Kevin Brooks, brother of the groom, Brad Rodrigues, brother of the bride, James Whatmough, Michael Allen Paul and Joshua Philbrick were ushers.
The bride is a graduate of Pilgrim High School and Keene State College in Keene, N.H. She is employed by The Providence Center School in Providence. The groom is a graduate of Pilgrim High School and is attending New England Institute of Technology. He is employed by Game Stop in Coventry.
The couple visited the Mayan Riviera, Mexico, on their honeymoon and make their home in Warwick.
