St. Ann Church in Providence was the setting July 12 for the wedding of Dr. Laura A. Capaldi of Providence and Dr. Thomas F. Della Torre of Providence. The Rev. Dean Perri performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mario and Maria Capaldi of Providence. The groom is the son of Dr. Thomas and Grazia Della Torre of Providence.
Dr. Irene Ho was the matron of honor. Elizabeth Della Torre and Patricia Burke, sisters of the groom, Tania DiMartino, Courtney DiMartino and Danielle DiMartino were bridesmaids. The best man was Dr. Daniel Coelho. Dr. Franco Capaldi, brother of the bride, Ronald Belluso, Richard Belluso, Dr. Robert Belluso and David Burke were ushers.
The bride is a graduate of Brown University and Brown University School of Medicine and is enrolled in a dermatology residency program at UMass Medical Center in Worcester, Mass. The groom is a graduate of Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pa., Brown University School of Medicine, and completed an ENT residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Conn. He is employed by Rhode Island ENT Physicians in Pawtucket.
The couple visited Positano, Italy, on their honeymoon and make their home in Worcester.
