Mr. and Mrs. Stephen M. Volpe Jr.
Independence Harbor in Assonet, Mass., was the setting Aug. 23 for the wedding of Kendra E. Testa of Johnston and Stephen M. Volpe Jr. of North Providence. Justice of the Peace Norma Cole officiated. The bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Nancy Testa of Johnston. The groom is the son of Deborah Mancini of North Providence and Stephen Volpe of Coventry.
Nicole Bouchard was maid of honor for her sister. The bridesmaids were Alison Tripp, Heather Herring and Lauren Blanchette. Emilie Rose Volpe, sister of the groom, was the flower girl.
The best man was Michael Curtis and the ushers were Garry Williams, Brant Santos and Jared Rubin. Kyle Bouchard was ring bearer.
The bride graduated from the University of Rhode Island and received a master’s degree from Providence College. She is employed by Mount Pleasant Academy in Providence. The groom is a graduate of Rhode Island College and is employed by Citizens Bank Investments in Smithfield.
The couple took a Mediterranean cruise on their honeymoon and make their home in Providence.
