Mr. and Mrs. Richard J. Smith Jr.
Kelly Elizabeth Grennan of North Kingstown and Richard John Smith Jr. of Jamestown were married July 2 in St. Bernard’s Church in Wickford by the Rev. Dennis Reardon. The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Ellen Grennan of North Kingstown. The groom is the son of Richard and Michelle Smith of Jamestown.
The matrons of honor were Kerri Champagne Smith and Ruth Engelhard Burke. Kaitlyn Shoener Rooney, Stefanie Smith and Megan Spitler were bridesmaids. The best man was Jesse Barbera. Matthew Grennan, Dylan Ryder and Timothy Smith were ushers.
The bride graduated from North Kingstown High School and James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va. She is employed at Cole Middle School in East Greenwich. The groom graduated from North Kingstown High School, the University of Rhode Island and received a master’s degree from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.
The couple went on a safari in South Africa on their honeymoon. They make their home in Jamestown.
