Mr. and Mrs. Richard J. Piette

Kate Ellen Higginbotham, of Barrington, and Richard J. Piette, of Warren, were married May 25 in St. Luke Church, Barrington, by the Rev. Joseph Escobar. The bride is the daughter of Stephen and Ellen-Ann Higginbotham of Barrington. The groom is the son of Susan Piette of Cumberland, and stepson of Adelena Piette of Cumberland. He is the son of the late Richard Piette.

Meg Corry Higginbotham was maid of honor for her sister. The bridesmaids were Mary Margaret Corry, Bethany Handfield, Kate Peterson, Heather Vinhateiro, Laura McElroy and Julie Czyzewski. Jordan Margolis was the flower girl. The best men were Michael Lourenco, brother of the groom, and Brendan Handfield. Geoffrey Higginbotham and Matthew Higginbotham, brothers of the bride, David Patterson, Joseph Bickford and Anthony Petrone were ushers. Benjamin Margolis was ring bearer.

The bride is a graduate of St. Michael’s College, Winooski, Vt., and Boston College, Chestnut Hill, Mass., and is employed by Family Service of Rhode Island, Providence. The groom is a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston, and is owner of RIPICO Builders Inc., Barrington.

The couple honeymooned in Aruba and make their home in Warren.
