Mr. and Mrs. Jason R. Proulx

Jennifer L. Cyr of Bristol and Jason R. Proulx of Warren were married Aug. 4 in St. Alexander’s Church, Warren, by the Rev. Matthew Glover. The bride is the daughter of Col. Edward Cyr and Patricia Cyr of Bristol. The groom is the son of Robert Proulx of Bristol and Debra Abbruzzi of Warren.

Laura Parisi was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Renee Cyr, Rachelle Cyr, Jessica Cyr, Kary-Anne Cyr, sisters of the bride, Leigh Butterworth, and Jennie Proulx, sister of the groom. Desiree Croy and Allyssa Proulx were junior bridesmaids. The flower girls were Alyson and Isabella Patterson, Gillian O’Brien and Samantha Whitcomb-Proulx. Ray Jan was best man. The groomsmen were Jacob Butterworth, Thomas Principe, Matthew DePasquale, Brian DaPonte, Gregory Sullivan and Victor Andreozzi. Benjamin Proulx was the ring bearer.

The bride is a graduate of Rhode Island College and is an English teacher at Rogers High School, Newport. The groom is a graduate of Merrimack College, North Andover, Mass., and is an environmental engineer for the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management.

The couple visited Aruba on their honeymoon and make their home in Warren.
