St. Francis DeSales Church in North Kingstown was the setting Sept. 5 for the wedding of Julie Ann Clark of Providence and Joseph P. Potenza of Warwick. The Rev. Robert Bailey performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Karen Clark of Providence. The groom is the son of Stephen and Betty Potenza of Warwick.

The maids of honor were Christine D’Ambra and Mackayla Arbige. Stacie-Lee Clark, Dawn Fontaine, Bethany Notley and Jodie Shippee, sister of the groom, were bridesmaids. Isabella Shippee was flower girl.

The best men were Eric Pedro and Matthew Macaruso. Michael Henderson, Matthew Quirk, Jonathan Polak and Brian Silvestro were ushers. Nicholas Cappalli was ring bearer.

The bride is a graduate of La Salle Academy and Community College of Rhode Island and is employed by Dr. Lawrence P. Stephenson in North Providence. The groom is a graduate of Pilgrim High School in Warwick and Community College of Rhode Island. He is employed by the Smithfield Fire Department.

The couple toured Italy on their honeymoon and make their home in Smithfield.
