Mr. and Mrs. Adair M. DosSantos

Heather I.H. Washington of East Providence and Adair M. DosSantos of Providence were married June 21 in The Holy Name of Jesus Church, Providence. The Rev. Joseph D. Santos Jr. performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Onna Moniz-John and Alvin John of East Providence. She is the daughter of the late Marvin Washington. The groom is the son of Manuel and Amelia DosSantos of Pawtucket.

April Ricci was the maid of honor and MaryAnn Fonseca was the matron of honor. Elaine Gonsalves and Julia DaCruz were attendants. The bridesmaids were Mishele Carvalho, Carla Williams, Jelisa DaCruz, Jenna Moniz, Monique Martinez, Amanda Pflug, Sharon Monteiro, Chelia Rodriguez, Caroline Gonsalves, Jade Nunez, Shayna DeBrito, Tiombe Royals, Shonica Monteiro, Leslie DaCruz and Cassandra DaCruz. Danielle DaCruz was junior bridesmaid.

Wilson DosSantos and Jeffrey DosSantos were best men for their brother. The ushers were Robert Williams IV, Rodney Williams, Joshua Moniz-John, brothers of the bride, Manuel Roderick, Anthony Ransom, Damon DosSantos, Ernesto Rocha, Alex Lopes, Scott Pflug, Russel DaCruz, Aguinaldo DaCruz, Derek DaCruz, Efrain Delacruz, Julio Perry, Dwayne Perry, Silvestre Spencer, and Brian Gonsalves. Pierce Williams was junior usher.

Madyson Horton, daughter of the bride, was the flower girl. The ringbearers were Dante DosSantos, son of the groom, and Marshall Horton, son of the bride.

The bride is a graduate of East Providence High School and Providence College and earned a master’s degree from the University of Connecticut, Storrs, Conn. She is enrolled in a Ph.D. program in special education at the University of Connecticut in Storrs and is a high school teacher in Providence.

The groom is a graduate of Hope High School in Providence and is employed in the automotive industry.

The couple visited Cancun, Mexico, on their honeymoon and make their home in East Providence.
