Mr. and Mrs. Darren McLaughlin

Erika Leigh Martineau of Swansea, Mass., and Darren Philip McLaughlin of Tiverton were married Dec. 21 at St. Margaret Church, Rumford, by Msgr. William McCaffrey. A reception followed at Lakeview Pavilion, Foxboro. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Martineau of Swansea. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Sweeney of New York and Mr. and Mrs. Michael McLaughlin of Florida.

Alyssa Martineau was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Stefanie Martineau, Courtney Brain, Meghan Mahoney, Sarah Zide, Jenna Ruttkay, Danielle Gernt, Colleen Whalen and Elizabeth McLaughlin. The flower girl was Kaylee Martineau. Peter Marzilli was the best man. The groomsmen were Christopher McLaughlin, Brent Martineau, Adam Schreiner, Steven Schreiner, Michael Placido, Jeff Goncalo, Steve Oliveira, Gerry Elias and Kyle McLaughlin. Tyler Martineau was the ring bearer.

The bride is a graduate of Joseph Case High School and Framingham State College and is employed by Verathon Medical in Bothell, Wash. The groom is a graduate of Tiverton High School and served four years in the U.S. Navy. He is employed by Sabic Innovative Plastics.

The couple visited Walt Disney World and the Bahamas on their honeymoon and make their home in Berkley, Mass.
