Mr. and Mrs. Marc Amaral

Christine Pereira of North Providence and Marc Amaral of Smithfield were married July 5 in St. Teresa of The Child Jesus Church in Pawtucket by the Rev. Joseph Paquette. The bride is the daughter of Grace Pereira of North Providence and the late John Pereira. The groom is the son of Maria Amaral of Smithfield and Carlos Amaral of Somerset, Mass.

Debbie Scheller was maid of honor. Adria Musco, Melissa Mederios, Sherrie Amaral, sister of the groom and Amanda DiLeone were bridesmaids. The flower girl was Engracia Scheller. John Chaves Jr. was the best man and Jeff Scheller, Joseph Fontaine, Evan Kurt, Brian Pfeiffer, Dan Bourassa, Derek Botelho and Brian Botelho were ushers. The ring bearers were Tristan Scheller and Austin Correia.

The bride is a graduate of North Providence High School and Katherine Gibbs School. She is employed by General Fabrics Company in Pawtucket. The groom is a graduate of Smithfield High School and is employed by Lowe’s in Woonsocket.

The couple visited Mexico on their honeymoon. They make their home in North Providence.
