Mr. and Mrs. Derek J. Carlson

Brittany Lynn Breidenbach and Derek John Carlson were married Dec. 29 at South Attleboro Assembly of God in South Attleboro. The Rev. Joseph Dockter officiated. The bride is the daughter of Bob and Janet Breidenbach, both of West Greenwich. The groom is the son of Dona Carlson of Cheboygan, Mich.

Lindsay and Kaitlyn Breidenbach, sisters of the bride, were the maids of honor. The bridesmaids were Hope Peden, Cami Gilman, Megan Hankins and Karisa Paravisini. Danny Gutierrez was the best man. Mike Vandersteen, Michael Bielefeld, Bryan Dockey and John Breeden were groomsmen.

The bride and groom are graduates of Evangel University in Missouri. She is a freelance writer for the Springfield News-Leader and OnCourse Magazine. The groom was recently commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant into the U.S. Army and is training at Fort Benning, Ga. His first assignment as a military police officer is in Grafenwoehr, Germany.

They honeymooned in Stowe, Vt., and make their home in Springfield, Mo.
