THE SCOUTING REPORT

URI (11-8, 5-3 in the Atlantic 10): Rams not only have lost two in a row, they have injury concerns. . . . Bitee, who has started every game, is questionable because of a sprained ankle suffered in Wednesday's loss to Saint Louis. Wise, who injured his hip in that game, is expected to be able to play, although perhaps not at 100 percent. . . . Rams are 3-4 on the road. . . . Baron is 3-for-19 on 3-pointers in the last four games. His percentage for the season is down to 33.8. Bitee has team lead in that category, at 36.8. . . . Clark has started every game and played 238 minutes but has yet to attempt a free throw. . . . Seawright has 31 assists, 14 turnovers and the best assist-turnover ratio on the team.

MASSACHUSETTS (9-8, 4-4): Minutemen return home after losing three in a row on the road. They are 7-0 at the Mullins Center and have won 11 in a row there over the last two years. . . . Rebounding remains a strength -- the team is at plus-4.3 in that category -- but coach Travis Ford was unhappy that his team was outrebounded in the loss at URI last week, 42-39. . . . Lowe, a freshman who earned starting point guard spot five games ago, has 78 assists, 55 turnovers. . . . Lasme is third in the country in blocked shots, with 79. . . . Freeman leads the team in steals, with 22.
