R.I. folks get a shot at Deal or No Deal
01:00 AM EDT on Monday, March 31, 2008
Have we got a deal for you! Or, maybe no deal. It’s all up to you.
The folks from the NBC game show Deal or No Deal will be at Twin River, 100 Twin River Rd., Lincoln, this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. looking for show contestants. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, legal residents of the United States, prepared to wait in long lines, and possess an “engaging personality and excitement for the show.” That personality should be front and center, since you’ll have about 20 seconds to tell the casting director why you should be a contestant.
Local NBC affiliate WJAR, Channel 10, is running a promotion on its Web site, turnto10.com, with one winner announced at noon on Friday getting to cut the line and have a one-on-one with the Deal casting director.
The payoff is the chance to be on the show hosted by Howie Mandel.
