Hear how a Rhode Island hockey dynasty was created. Ice Kings, the story of the 26-year state championship reign of Woonsocket’s Mount Saint Charles hockey team, airs tonight at 8 on Rhode Island PBS, Channel 36.
The program will feature interviews with Bill Belisle, the team’s former coach, as well as interviews with his players over the years, those who played against them, and someone who followed all the action for a year, John Gillooly, a Providence Journal sportswriter and author of the 2004 book Pride on the Mount.
