Trinity Rep Radio Theater returns Friday, Saturday and Sunday on WRNI
01:00 AM EST on Friday, January 2, 2009
Trinity Rep takes to the air, again. Providence’s venerable theater company continues its third season of Trinity Rep Radio Theater, which is presented in partnership with WRNI, Rhode Island’s NPR station, this weekend.
The program features three works: The Workhouse Ward by Lady Gregory; The Happy Prince by Oscar Wilde; and excerpts from James Joyce’s The Dead. The readings will be performed by three Trinity actors: Janice Duclos, Stephen Thorne and Rachael Warren. They’ll be joined by Curt Columbus, Trinity’s artistic director, who will offer information and commentary on the works and their creators.
The January installment of Trinity Rep Radio Theater will air on 1290 and 1230 AM, and 102.7 FM tonight at 8, tomorrow at 1 p.m., and Sunday at 11 a.m. For more information, visit www.trinityrep.com or www.wrni.org.
