The fifth annual Providence Improv Fest is Wednesday through next Sunday at three downtown venues: Trinity Theatre, 201 Washington St.; Perishable Theatre, 95 Empire St.; and AS220, 115 Empire St.

SHOWS

Wednesday: The Local Improv Blowout is at 7, 8:10 and 9:20 p.m. at Trinity.

Thursday: Shows are at 7 and 9 p.m. at Trinity and Perishable.

Friday: Trinity and AS220 have shows at 8 and 10 p.m. Perishable has shows at 8, 10 and midnight.

Saturday: Trinity has shows at 2, 8 and 10 p.m.; Perishable at 5, 8, 10 and midnight.

Sunday: Perishable has a show at 7, and Trinity at 7 and 9 p.m.

Tickets are $20 for all three of the Local Improv Blowout shows. Regular shows are $10. There’s a five-show pass for $40, a student pass of six shows for $40, and a festival pass to all shows for $80.

WORKSHOPS (all at Perishable)

Thursday: Intro to improv at 4 p.m., free.

Friday: Intro to British accents at 2 p.m., $30; intro to long form at 4 p.m., free.

Saturday: Character development at 11 a.m., $40; making meaningful improv at 2 p.m., $40.
