David Copperfield will appear. That’s not magic, but his show is.
“An Intimate Evening of Grand Illusion” is Tuesday at 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. in the Providence Performing Arts Center, 200 Weybosset St. In the show, Copperfield says that among other things he’ll make a member of the audience disappear and reappear. And if someone should suspect the comings and goings involve a trap door, Copperfield conducts the trick standing with a randomly picked person on the arm of a crane over the audience.
For tickets, $32 to $52, call (401) 421-2787 or visit www.ppacri.org.
