Get wedding photos to all the relatives, free
01:00 AM EDT on Sunday, October 5, 2008
Problem
Your daughter was married recently and you have pictures that relatives would like you to share. How can you send lots of pictures over the Internet and not sacrifice quality?
Solution
Put all the photos on a Web page. Instead of sending out a flood of photos, you can send a link to the page. The beauty of using a Web page is that you can combine other features, such as a guest book where folks can comment.
You can use both a commercial Web site (one that you pay for) and a free personal Web space that probably comes with one of your Internet accounts. There are plenty of providers of free Web space out there, including several that specialize in photo-sharing. But even if you had to pay for a Web site, it would be cheaper than other options and less inconvenient for your recipients.
