Bryant men and women having their way on tennis courts

The Bryant tennis teams are hot. The men (13-3, 7-0) are atop the Northeast-10 standings, ranked No. 3 in the East Region and No. 45 in the nation, Bryant's first national ranking in men's tennis. Freshman Cristian Balestrieri of Argentina is 12-4 at No. 1 singles. Jose Rodriguez of Peru is 11-3 overall, 9-2 at No. 2 singles.
The Bulldog women (14-2, 7-0) are first in the NE-10 and third in the East. Emma Czarnecki is 8-2 at No. 1 singles. Senior Michelle Burke (Barrington) is 12-4 and freshman Katharine Francazio (Cranston/La Salle) 15-1. Francazio is 10-0 at No. 4 singles.
Wheaton's Brian Krantz is the NEWMAC singles player of the week. He won his only match of the week and improved to 7-1 this spring.
The URI men finished seventh at the Atlantic 10 Championships.
