Lakers 103, Celtics 98 -- Ray Allen rushes to airport due to child's illness

LOS ANGELES - The Celtics' Ray Allen played last night's Game Five of the NBA Finals with a heavy heart. One of his children apparently has an unknown health issue. It is unclear just when Allen found out about the issue and he quickly left Staples Center right after the game. Here is what Doc Rivers said about the issue in a statement released by the team:
"Ray Allen was forced to leave Staples Center right at the conclusion of tonight's game due to a health issue with one of his children. We ask that you please respect Ray's privacy at this time. We'll keep you up to date as best we can moving forward."
It is unclear how this personal issue will effect Allen's availability for the rest of the series. The Celtics are not traveling home until Monday morning, but Allen was apparently rushed to the airport at the conclusion of last night's game.
