Spraying Friday

Spraying for the West Nile virus will continue Friday, 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Seekonk around County, Anthony and Miller Streets. Athletic fields at all area schools will also be sprayed.

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health recommends that residents:

Keep family members and pets inside during spraying.

Stay inside for at least 10 minutes after spraying.

If exposed, wash off.

Close windows.

Shut off air conditioners.

Close car windows and turn air to re-circulate mode.

Wash exposed fruits and vegetables from gardens before eating.

Put toys and small equipment indoors.
