A Time to Die

1/4/97: 'I will kill myself when my voice goes and I can no longer participate in my relationships' -- these are the words of Nöel Earley, repeated with conviction since February 1996; reality, though, is never so clear-cut and since his voice has weakened, in January 1997, Earley still participates in his relationships but now he points to his words.
