. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
The story behind Rhode Island's most successful sports team, the ice hockey players of Mount St. Charles Academy in Woonsocket.
About the series Parts 1 - 6

From the first day of the season last November to the day the Mounties won their 21st consecutive R.I. high school championship in March, Providence Journal-Bulletin sportswriter John Gillooly and photographer Rachel Ritchie followed the team through daily practices, strategy sessions, bus trips and games. The result is this six-part series, first published in the Journal-Bulletin on April 5-10.
