DAEGU, South Korea – The third-place game is often overlooked, but with
South Korea playing in this year's consolation match before a fervent home
crowd, Saturday's game against Turkey at least will have an emotional
edge. (6 a.m., Ch. 23 in Spanish; also on tape at 12:30 p.m., Ch. 8)
South Korea is the first non-European team in the third-place game since
Brazil edged Italy in 1978. Turkey defeated the other tournament host,
Japan, earlier in the tournament.

25-year-old striker grew up, kids are lining up to have their heads
shaved a la Ronaldo.
"God help me!" 25-year-old cleaning lady Ana Paula Noronha Viera de
Paula replied when asked what she thought of Ronaldo's new do. "My
boyfriend cut his hair like that and I made him shave it all off!"
