LONDON – Olympic champion Nastia Liukin of Parker was elected to the International Gymnastics Federation's Athletes Commission, representing women's artistic gymnastics. "To be on that board, it's an honor to be able to have a voice in the FIG," Liukin said. As an athlete representative, Liukin will attend meetings of the technical committee, which sets rules and regulations for each discipline. Her term runs through 2012. Liukin, who won four medals at the Beijing Olympics besides her all-around gold, is currently taking a break from competitive gymnastics. Parker's Liukin to serve on gymnastics board
