A class act of fundraising by Jimmy Burchfield generated $452.65 for the Summertime Fund. A professional boxing event was held on July 26 at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet, and between participants, fans, sponsors and Jimmy Burchfield's Classic Entertainment and Sports Inc., they were able to raise this money and wish luck to the Summertime Fund.

Friday dress-down days at Esek Hopkins Middle School, in Providence, resulted in comfortable surroundings for faculty and staff and their successful fundraising effort of a $390 donation for the Summertime Fund.

Longtime friend Joseph Czerwinski makes his annual donation to the fund with good luck wishes and a note for "all of us to enjoy the rest of the summer."

Memorial donations are given anonymously for Annette and Arthur, for "Hon," and Arthur and Jane Jolin. Lillian and Al Crudale make a loving donation in the names of their parents and Valerie Ricciardi remembers "Bennie" with her contribution "as always, for the kids."
