Camp Waseca of the Bayside Family YMCA, 70 West St., Barrington. 245-2444. One-week traditional day camp and two-week specialty camp programs for grades 1-6. Day camp includes swim lessons, archery (ages 8 and up), sports and art. Specialty camps include drama, dance, cheerleading, basketball, baseball and soccer. Teen camps for grades 7-10 include arts, sports and science. June 19-Aug. 25. $115 per week/$150 for nonmembers. Preschool camps for ages 3-5 are half day with a full-day option. $62-$115 per week members; $86-$150 nonmembers.

Fall River YMCA, 199 North Main St., Fall River. (508) 675-7841. Nine one-week sessions beginning June 26 for children who have participated in kindergarten through age 14. Tuition is $95 per week. Accepts PACE vouchers, EEC contract slots available, and financial assistance available. Each session has a fun theme that provides the topic for weekly assembly skits and songs. Camp Heritage Pioneers, ages 4-5 (entering kindergarten). Includes activities that encourage teamwork, develop healthy lifestyle choices and promote caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Campers have recreational swimming twice a week, weekly field trips and traditional group games based on weekly themes. $165 week/$140 members.
Camp Heritage Voyagers, ages 5-7 (entering first or second grade). Nine one-week sessions. Recreational swimming twice a week, weekly field trips, and traditional group games based on weekly themes. $150 week/$130 members. $10 registration fee. Kiddie Kamp, half day for ages 3-5, full day for ages 3 1/2-5. One-week sessions. Half day, $115 members/$180 nonmembers; full day, $185/$225.
Camp Elmwood offers Junior Village (ages 6-8) and Senior Village (9-11). One-week sessions, $158/$200; two-week sessions, $300/$390.

Programs include swimming, archery, sports, arts and crafts, environmental education and recreational time. Specialty programs include sport camps, gymnastics, dance, skate, technology, cheerleading, tennis, eco-challenge, circus school, teen fitness, adventure, extreme, aqua-venture, and leadership development.

Weekly sessions June 19-Aug. 25 for ages 3-15. 8:30 am-5:30 pm, with extended hours available. Traditional and specialty camps available. Field trips, special events, swimming and more. YMCA Camp Fuller, on Point Judith Pond in Wakefield. 783-5359, Web site www.campfuller.com. Residential camp for ages 7-16. (Branch of YMCA of Greater Providence, 22 Richmond St., Providence.) Two-week Traditional Camp sessions June 25-Aug. 19, $995 per session. Activities include sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing, kayaking, skateboarding, climbing and biking. One-week option for first-time campers June 25-July 1 and July 2-8, $505.
Specialty camps Aug. 20-25, $520-$585, include
Performing Arts entry-level drama;
Point Judith Sailing small group instruction;
On the Edge, teen sampler including climbing and white-water rafting;
Sea Quest, a rigorous marine biology program taught by noted marine biologist Prentice K. Stout;
SCUBA and Advance SCUBA, participants receive junior level certificate and explore dives in the area;
Skater's Paradise offers a different skate park each day; and
Windsurfing.

YMCA Camp Massasoit, held at 22-acre site on Oak Swamp Reservoir, off Route 6, Johnston, and conducted by Cranston YMCA, 1225 Park Ave., Cranston. 943-0444. Serving Cranston and Johnston. Day camp for ages 5-17, including swim lessons, canoeing, boating, arts and crafts, basketball, soccer and special events. New camp this year is Major League Soccer. Daily transportation to and from camp is provided. After-camp care until 6 pm available.

YMCA Camp Ok-Wa-Nessett, Kent County YMCA, 900 Centerville Rd., Warwick. 828-0130, www.kentcountyymca.org. Serving Warwick, West Warwick, Coventry, East Greenwich, West Greenwich, North Kingstown. For ages 3-17, June 19 to Aug. 25, in two-week sessions. Camp runs 9 am-4:30 pm, with extended care available. Sports, dance, art, theater, cheerleading, aquatics and skate park are among the specialty camps offered. Prices vary according to age group; average cost is $230 for a two-week session. Financial assistance available. Open houses are May 20 and June 10.

YMCA Camp Watchaug, day camp for ages 4-15 owned and operated by the Westerly-Pawcatuck YMCA on Watchaug Pond in Charlestown. One- and two-week sessions June 20 through August, $175 to $375. Swim instruction, sailing (grades 4-9 only), kayaking, rowing and canoeing, archery, outdoor cooking, overnight camping, climbing wall, ropes course, hiking, noncompetitive games, sports, arts and crafts and special event days. One-week specialty camps for art, photography, fort building and water sports. 9 am-4 pm with extended care available. Transportation provided from Mystic, Conn., to Richmond. YMCA of South County, 165 Broad Rock Rd., Peace Dale. 783-3900. Begins June 26.
Camp Broad Rock, a traditional day camp for grades 2-5, runs in two-week sessions 9 am-4 pm. Swimming, arts and crafts, low ropes course, group games, hiking, archery and more.
Camp Small Fry, ages 3-4. Half day or full day available in one- and two-week sessions. Includes gym, arts and crafts, outdoor games, swim instruction.
Kinder Camp, for grades K-1, is all new and campers are led through a variety of activities.
Sports and Specialty Camps include theater, Y'd World of Sports, British Soccer, basketball, gymnastics, sports mania, Y arts, flag football and adventure. New camps include archery, girls club and international games. For Teens, a lot of new camps are being offered in two-week increments, such as N'Sync or swim, the show must go on, musical theater camp, into the woods, outdoor experiences camp, teen fitness and counselor-in-training are offered for teens as well. It's not rocket science, xtreme teen travel, and lights, camera, action, multimedia camp are new in 2006. Extended care is available for all camps from 7-9 am and 4-6 pm. Camp Blackhawk, ages 5-10 at Silver Lake in Bellingham, Mass., $150.
Junior Leaders Camp, ages 11-14 have fun while learning to be a leader, $150.
Counselor In Training is a free program for ages 15-17; applications must be submitted.

Busy Bees Camp: For ages 3-5, arts and crafts, stories, cooking, games and water play. $150 per week for 8 am to 6 pm and $75 for 9 am-1 pm. Extended hours program 8-9 am is $5 per day.
Kids Sports Club: ages 4-6, Mon.-Wed., 9 am-1 pm. Extended hours 8-9 am. $5 per day. Adventure, games, sports, cooking, stories and outside activities that involve weekly themes. $45.
Team Leadership Camp for teens grades 7-9. Participants learn first aid, childcare and leadership skills, which they apply in a placement at the YWCA. Students learn job skills such as resume writing and interviewing. Students who successfully complete the program receive incentives.
