Adventure Camp at Boston University's Sargent Center for Outdoor Education in Hancock, N.H., offers challenges and excitement for ages 10-17 through canoeing, mountain biking, backpacking, ropes courses, waterfront activities on Halfmoon Pond. Aloha Camps, residential camps on Lake Morey in Fairlee, Vt., founded more than 100 years ago by the Gulick family, founders of Campfire Girls.
