North Kingstown Football Camp for ages 6-18, grouped by age, ability and position. Held at the high school and run by North Kingstown High School head football coach Joe Davies. The Matt Light Football Camp, held at Wheaton College, Norton, Mass. June 25-29, for overnight and commuter campers, ages 7-18. On-field practice under tutelage of college and high school coaches; daily lectures and demonstrations by New England Patriot Matt Light and other Patriots. $699 overnight; $589 commuters. NFL Flag Football Summer Camp, Jewish Community Center of Rhode Island, 401 Elmgrove Ave., Providence. 861-8800. Introductory course on the basics of flag football. Field play, classroom explanations of the rules and ways to play the game. All campers will create their own jersey. Those choosing to stay for the full day will spend the rest of the day swimming and using the outside fields for games. Coed for ages 7-12, July 17-21. Full day $225/$195 members; 9 am-noon. $135/$105.

Rhode Island Football Academy, teaching camp held at CCRI Athletic Complex in Warwick. Mini-Camp, a 7on7 format, is held July 5-7. $99. Full camp, open to those in grades 6-12, July 10-14 (also offered the same week at Case High School in Swansea). Campers grouped by ages 8-14 and high school. $195 for all-day (8:30 am-4 pm) campers in grades 3-9; $145 for half-day campers (8:30 am-noon under 14). $145 for high school division (1-4:30 pm).
