FENCING 03.12.2006 Rhode Island Fencing Academy and Club (RIFAC). 245-7902; www.rifac.com. All programs taught by certified fencing coaches and national champions; all equipment provided. Renaissance Camp: An exploration of aspects of Renaissance life. Campers design and construct their own Renaissance garb, learn a traditional tune on a block flute, begin training as a squire with broadsword combat and gain a solid foundation in modern fencing. June 20-23, 9 am-4 pm, RIFAC Main Academy, 16 Cutler St., third floor, Warren. For ages 11-14. $275. Program for Beginners, Experienced and Competitive Fencers: Instructors teach beginners the basics of modern fencing and help experienced fencers hone skills and build endurance and stamina. July 31-Aug. 4 and Aug. 7-11, 9 am-4 pm (early drop-off 8:30 am, late pickup 5:30 pm), RIFAC Main Academy. For ages 8-14. $325 for one session, $550 for both. Camp for Beginner Fencers: July 17-21, 9 am-noon, RIFAC/West Bay, East Greenwich. For ages 8-14. $175. Camp for Experienced Fencers: Accelerate game through focused training, including drills, games, competitive bouting and tournaments. July 24-28, 9 am-noon, RIFAC/West Bay, East Greenwich. For ages 8-14. $175.
