Camp Twin Willows, Twin Willows Stables, 233 Morgan Ave., Johnston. 943-2125. Day camp for ages 4-14 with basic horseback riding, grooming and horse care, games and horse-related activities. Eight one-week sessions from 9 am-3 pm.: June 26-30, July 10-14, July 17-21, July 24-28, July 31-Aug. 4, Aug. 7-11, Aug. 14-18. $240 per week.

Cornerstone Farm Summer Riding Program: Beth Stone, director. 86 Foster Center Rd., Foster. 397-9242. Day camp for ages 6-15 of all abilities, features a different theme each week: Horse show, drill team, eventing, driving, horse camping, horse health, creative riding, Cornerstone Olympics. Counselor in Training program and limited residence camp. Ten one-week sessions June 19-Aug. 25, 9 am-3:30 pm (extended day available). $275 per week ($325 for riders bringing their own horses); residence camp $400 per week ($475 with own horse). Green Beans, June 26-30, July 17-21, Aug. 7-11: Ages 7-16, for beginners who have not had more than 20 rides on a horse and have little or no experience working around horses. Green Beans Advanced, Aug. 21-25: Ages 7-16, for advancing beginners who can ride without a leader, groom and tack up with some assistance. Promising Prospects, June 19-23 and July 10-14. Ages 9-16, for intermediate campers who have had more than 20 rides on a horse or have attended two or more weeks of GFEC camp last year. Promising Prospects Advanced, July 24-28 and Aug. 14-18, ages 9-16, for advancing intermediate riders who have been riding consistently over the past year. $385.

Heritage Equestrian Summer Horse Camp, Heritage Equestrian Center, 864 Tillinghast Rd., East Greenwich. (401) 88-HORSE. Weekly June 19-Aug. 21 (except week of July 4), 9 am-3 pm. $300 per week. Horseback Riding Camp at The Wheeler School Farm, Seekonk. Campers entering grades 2-8 spend the morning learning English riding skills and basic horsemanship. In the afternoon participants join in the traditional camp activities, including electives and free swim. Beginner/Intermediate Camp, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. July 17-21, July 31-Aug 4, Aug. 21-25, offers riding lessons twice a day, trail riding, swimming, arts & crafts and hiking $260 per session.
