Halloween party: The South Kingstown Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a Halloween costume party for children age 3 to 7, tomorrow from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Neighborhood Guild, 325 Columbia St., Peace Dale.

Included will be crafts and other activities. Registration, at $11 for town residents and $14 for others, may be made by calling 789-9301.

Story time: Children age 5 and under are invited to a Halloween story time at the Exeter Public Library, 773 Ten Rod Rd., Exeter, Tuesday morning from 11 to 11:30.
