Woonsocket Harris Public Library, 303 Clinton St., will host Wellness Company Flu Clinics Nov. 17 and 24 from 9 to 11 a.m. The following health insurance will be accepted to cover the cost of the flu shot: Blue Cross & Blue Shield (any plan); United Healthcare of New England; Federal Blue Cross; Medicare; United Healthcare Medicare Complete; Medicaid (RIte Care or United only). There will be a $15 charge for those who are insured by another carrier, and a $25 charge for those with no insurance.

The library book club will meet Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. to discuss On What Grounds by Cleo Coyle. This book is the first in the Coffeehouse Mystery series.

Children age 3 ½ to 5 are invited to a Thanksgiving story time. Children will listen to stories, watch a movie about turkeys, and make a Thanksgiving craft to take home. Story time will be held Nov 19 from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. or Nov 20 from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m.

A Books are Wings party will be held Nov. 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the library. Children age 5 and up will get a free book. A storyteller and face painter will be at the library to entertain children and families. Younger children may attend, but all children under age 12 must be with an adult.
