WOONSOCKET — Fire raged through an apartment house on Earle Street last night, injuring a firefighter and forcing four or five families from apartments in the building.
The fire was reported at 4:58 p.m. Six hours later, firefighters were still putting out hotspots, according to firefighter Jeff Burlingame in the Woonsocket fire alarm center.
The building appeared to have been completely destroyed.
