The Western Rhode Island Civic Historical Society will hold election of officers tonight at 7 at the Paine House Museum, 7 Station St., Coventry.
The Coventry Men’s Club, Phillips Hill Road, Coventry, will hold a Country Night on Saturday, Aug. 9, at 7:30 p.m. There will be a chicken and rib barbecue and dancing to a country DJ. Tickets are $10. For information, or tickets, call (401) 385-3536.
The Coventry-West Greenwich Elks and Emblem Clubs, 42 Nooseneck Hill Rd., West Greenwich, will hold a Luau Buffet, with music by Artbeat, on Saturday, Aug. 9, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15. To purchase tickets, call Barbara at (401) 821-8135.
