School workshop: Coventry High School, 70 Reservoir Rd., will hold a college application and financial-aid information night on Thursday, Nov. 30. The college application workshop will begin at 6:15 p.m.; guidance counselors will help with the recommendation process, how to request transcripts and scholarship information. The financial-aid workshop will start at 6:30; a representative of the College Planning Center of Rhode Island will discuss finance options and how to apply for financial aid. Copies of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) from the Department of Education will be distributed.

Bazaar: Cornerstone of Faith United Methodist Church, 1081 Main St., will hold its Snowflake Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be handmade items, baked goods, and Christmas items. Lunch will be available.
