Ferri sworn in for Warwick House seat

Frank G. Ferri, who late last month won the three-way special election for Warwick’s District 22 seat in the House of Representatives, is sworn in yesterday by Secretary of State A. Ralph Mollis while his mother, Palma Ferri, holds the Bible. Ferri, a Democrat, gay-rights activist and owner of a Johnston bowling alley, is assuming the seat that was vacated in August by Democrat Peter T. Ginaitt.
