WARWICK — The police have identified the body of a 28-year-old man who was found dead in a motel room Thursday afternoon.
The Providence man, Frank Decorpo, of 597 Union Ave., Apt. 1, was visiting his girlfriend at the Motel 6, 20 Jefferson Blvd. in Warwick, said police Capt. Matthew Costello. Decorpo’s girlfriend called the police around 4 p.m.
Police are still awaiting reports from the state medical examiner’s office, but Capt. Robert Neilson, said the death may have been caused by an overdose or accidental suicide.
“We’re looking at everything, but that’s what we’re leaning towards,” Neilson said.
The incident is under investigation.
