SOUTH KINGSTOWN — Remember when Wigglemania would sweep South County?

Well, get ready for Doodlemania.

The Doodles – Deedee, Rooney and Moe – are coming to the University of Rhode Island’s Ryan Center as a stop on their first-ever U.S. tour.

The stars of the Disney Channel’s Doodlebops show, the Doodles will bring their “rock and bop” music to the Ryan Center for shows on Friday, April 13, at 4 and 7 p.m.

Tickets for Doodlebops Live range from $24 to $34, and go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. at the Ryan Center box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com, or by calling Ticketmaster at 331-2211. There is a 10-ticket, per-person limit.

As with the Wiggles, the Doodles brand of singing, dancing, rhyming and joke-telling are favorites of the preschool set. And, like the Wiggles, the Doodles are expected to sell out the Ryan Center.
