Historic houses open

Two historic sites in Kingston will be open to the public Dec. 6, when they will show off their special holiday décor and exhibits.
Oliver Watson House, on Farm House Road, and the Pettaquamscutt Historical Society, 2636 Kingstown Rd., will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is a non-perishable food donation to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. Information is available at www.preserveri.org.
