Dance lessons: Dance lessons are conducted each Wednesday at the Towers, 35 Ocean Rd., Narragansett, with Swing and ballroom dancing from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by Latin dance at 7, beginners’ tango at 8, and intermediate tango at 9.

Admission is $12 for one lesson, and $4 for each additional class.

Sports leagues: The South Kingstown Parks and Recreation Department sponsors the following drop-in sports leagues, for adults, at the Peace Dale Elementary School:

Co-ed basketball, Monday and Wednesday, 8 to 9 p.m.; and over-35 basketball, Friday, 6 to 9 p.m.; and volleyball, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Over-35 games are also played Wednesday at Curtis Corner Middle School. The fee is 50 cents a game for basketball, $1 for volleyball.

A men’s basketball league plays Thursday and Sunday night at Old Mountain Field, on Kingstown Road in Wakefield.
