The South County Tourism Council is soliciting photos showing activities, attractions and the “allure” of South County, in all seasons, for its seventh annual photography contest.

Photos should be taken in Charlestown, Coventry, East Greenwich, Exeter, Hopkinton, Narragansett, North Kingstown, Richmond, South Kingstown, Westerly or West Greenwich.

Entry forms and rules are available by e-mailing info@southcountyri.com, at www.southcountyri.com, or by calling the tourism council office at 4808 Tower Hill Rd., Suite 101, Wakefield, RI 02879. The deadline for submissions is Aug. 6.

Awards will be presented during a reception Aug. 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Courthouse Center for the Arts, on Route 138 in Kingston, where the winning photographs will remain on display through Sept. 10.
