Spring festival: URI’s College of the Environment and Life Sciences is sponsoring its sixth annual East Farm Spring Festival, featuring plant sales, workshops and presentations, tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free.

Plant sales: The Plum Beach Garden Club is sponsoring a sale of plants and baked goods tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 55 Old Library Park, on Brown Street in Wickford. The rain date will be Sunday.

The club will also be selling commemorative bricks, for $50, to be placed in Old Library Park. Proceeds will go toward community projects in North Kingstown, such as the maintenance of gardens at Gilbert Stuart Museum, the North Kingstown Free Library, floral arrangements at Beechwood House Senior center, and the Wickford Islands Project to beautify the state traffic islands at the entrance to the village.

Historic Casey Farm, on Route 1A in Saunderstown, will host its annual plant sale tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring children’s activities and free house tours, as well as the sale of vegetables, including heirloom tomatoes, flowers and herbs.

Yard sale: The North Kingstown High School Sailing Team is looking for donations of nautical items for its fundraising yard sale, Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at the school, 150 Fairway Drive, North Kingstown. Yard sale tables are also available for rent.

Items may be dropped off at 160 Prospect Ave., North Kingstown, or at 55 Gondola Ave., Jamestown. Name and addresses should be attached in order to receive a receipt. For information, call 423-3167.

Book/bake sale: Books and baked goods will be for sale at the Langworthy Public Library, on Spring Street in Hope Valley, today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
